The Wedding
Filed under: Celebrity Weddings @5:29 am

The Wedding! I can no longer wait! This new TV teleserye will premiere next week June 29 on ABS-CBN.  It’s an all star cast for me. Anne Curtis is one of the local actress that I really admire. And of course — Zanjoe Marudo + Derek Ramsey = a hot hot primetime bida! Haha nah, I’m not paid to do this or something. I’m just a fan!

Watch out for this bridetobe’s! Let’s be inspired with the wedding details ! I heard this will replace Kris Aquino’s Pinoy Bingo Night.

Bride to Be Diet List
Filed under: BrideToBe's Thoughts, Wedding Checklist, Wedding Planning @8:56 am

Several months before the wedding, I made a list of food that I should avoid and the minimal intake details of every meal.

I am really not overweight or something. But I believe being on a diet is not only applicable to those who are fat.

Other reasons include:

A. For good health. Cholesterol and calories will always be bad.
B. For more toned muscles. This is my major problem. The unnecessary flabs that comes out of nowhere.

I’ve always wanted to have and stayed in a slim figure because slim people appears sexy on pictures and videos. Do you know why you always wonder and have those freaking I-look-fat moments whenever you look at your recent pictures?

Sad trivia:
Photos and videos instantly add 10 lbs to your existing weight.

(Ara Mina looks kinda chubby on TV but in person she’s a real sexy; those who look sexy on TV are in fact slim/thin in personal) Now, imagine yourself how you will look like.

We know how wedding pictures and videos matters a lot…so yeah better get ready :p

Take your regular meals but with minimal intake. Zero to less rice is important. Rice will always make tummy bigger.

Avoid sodas. Drink water instead.

Be happy and leave things as they are. Sadness and depressions will only cause you to eat and sleep more - thus making you fat.

Walk, walk and walk - it’s good for for your beautiful toned legs.

In my case, there are days that I don’t take regular rice meals. A bowl of oats with milk and honey will do.

Love Story

Love Story and Viva La Vida

Beautiful version of  Love Story by Taylor Swift and Coldplay’s Viva la Vida

While working on night shift mode, Mtv, Channel V and Myx are my best friends until the wee hours of morning, so yeah — I knew and I’ve seen Taylor Swift’s Love Story music video several times already.

Also, I  woke up this afternoon with the sound of bunch of kids outside singing the same song.

Not really a fan of the said song - until Riz posted this youtube video above at Facebook, saying that she can’t get over it. How infectious! Now, I can’t stop playing it over and over again haha.

I posted it here - sharing to bride to be’s out there. This is really inspiring! Hmm, I think you can also use it as your bridal march song :)

And said, marry me Juliet
You’ll never have to be alone
I love you and that’s all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It’s a love story baby just say yes

How to look thin on your wedding gown
Filed under: BrideToBe's Thoughts, Wedding Planning @7:39 pm

Wedding planning is such a tough task. It’s so tiring that the only reward you can get is spend most of your time eating while thinking and working with your to-do list. That is why months before our wedding, I was gaining those unnecessary flabs. It came to the point that I am already worried that I might not fit into my gown (you are not allowed to fit your wedding gown until wedding day, that’s the old pamahiin says. They said it’s a bad luck)

2 weeks before the big day tho, I noticed that I am losing weight. I think it’s the stress that causes it…anyway so much for that. Below are some tips on how to appear, at least, slim and sexy on your wedding gown:

1. Know your body shape and research on kind of gown that will match your shape (pear shape, apple shape etc.)

2. In my case, soft fabrics makes me look fat.

3. White color will always make you look fat. But it’s a wedding event… and yeah wedding gown is usually white so maybe you can try something like an off white or other colors :p

4. Go on a diet, honey. Avoid carbs, fats and sweets.

5. Hide the flaws like if you have a double chin, go with a deep neckline gown or have a high updo hair to distract the eye to look somewhere away from your chin.

6. Start walking and stretching for more toned muscles.

7. Be happy and live a life in positivity. Leave things as they are. Bad attitude and insecurity will only cause you to gain more unwanted fats :p

Unchanging Love and Crying on Weddings
Filed under: BrideToBe's Thoughts, Celebrity Weddings @11:30 pm

Currently watching the wedding special of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo at ABS-CBN (lucky huh for getting the exclusives) And yeah as usual - it made me cry. Well, weddings always makes me cry -particularly the part where the bride starts to do her bridal walk.

During our wedding, I tried not to cry while walking really slow because I can’t afford to ruin my make-up and look ugly on pictures hehe. Didn’t realize tho that my groom was crying while I was walking, (Saw it in video and pics afterwards)

The selected moments that I got really emotional was after the you-may-kiss-the-bride thing…when he hugged me (everytime he hugs me actually!); and when we we’re dancing.I’ve always believed that one of the signs that a man is meant for me is that if he’s someone whom I can dance with. And he is!

Even after the wedding - like for example when we’re just at home. Out of the blue, he’d grab me to stand up, hold me in his arms and dance with him whenever a romantic or upbeat music is playing.

Anyway…so much for mushies and crying. Going back to the Juday-Ryan’s wedding…part 2 of the special episode is next sunday (May 24, 2009)

The part 1 is about to end already as I write this sentence. So far, I can now say that indeed it was a very fun, solemn, unconventional and simple private  wedding of a popular couple in the showbiz world.
