Currently watching the newsbreak of Mar-Korina wedding happening at Sto. Domingo Church. The theme is Filipiniana. So the bridesmaids is like a group of Maria Clara’s with no partner/groomsmen at all. (I guess so, because they’re walking alone)

The entourage march scene for me is kinda sad. I don’t know maybe because I don’t see any colors hehe I can only see white and off-white clothes.

Oh, except Kris Aquino whose wearing a dark gown :p Baby James is adorable.

Bridewalk: Well, as usual the part where the bride marches is the part where it always make me cry whenever I witness weddings. Korina Sanchez was wearing a beautiful off shoulder gown made by Pepito Albert. She’s kinda teary eyed too while walking.

There’s one thing off tho - she’s not wearing a veil.

Kinda contradicts their wedding theme (Filipiniana) wherein we have this old tradition about veil as a symbol of mystery and purity. There’s a superstition too that says something about protection from bad spirits or vibes to the bride :p

Wearing a veil is also like a surprise to the Groom because he won’t see his Bride’s face clearly. Once the ceremony ended and the Priest said - “you may now kiss the bride” and the veil is turned at the back of bride’s head, that’s the only time that the Groom and the rest of the people will see the Bride’s beautiful face clearly.

I can no longer remember what happened to The Wedding starring Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsey and Zanjoe Marudo. I didn’t know it ended already. :p The serye is short. Maybe this kind of romantic comedy is not yet that appealing to the Pinoy TV watchers right? People still love the deep drama and love story stuff. Some are into fantasy or even actions. But rare for romantic comedies.

Since I really don’t know what happened to the said serye, I googled and found out that what had happened was Anne Curtis was indeed a bride of Derek Ramsey, who became a runaway bride and run to Zanjoe instead. Hmm, typical ending. Some are frustrated because they like Derek…but for me I’ll go with Zanjoe of course because they had spent more stories/moments/trials together. Derek was too perfect. And yeah it’s boring.

Anyway, here’s what I found Anne’s Curtis official wedding gown for the ending of teleserye:

It’s a rainy day for those who’ll be having their lucky 999 wedding on this day! It’s okay! Bride to be’s, times like this remember that - happiness is always a choice. Have fun even if it’s raining or things are not going  the way it should be :p

When I was just a kid, I used to wonder -  how will I know if the person is the right marrying kind..like if it’s a meant to be or not.

Some said to wait. But for how long ?
Some said you’ll just know. Again, how?

Until I met this certain guy, whose now my husband - that’s when I realized that hah — yeah yeah you will really know.

How? Simple. Because you want to be with him for the rest of your life and the universe conspires for you to achieve it.

Here below are the 10 key points that helped me realized and guided me to find my ever after:

A. You accept him as he is. No intention of changing him in the future. Or influencing him to change his fashion sense.

B. You love to stare and look at him, even if he’s not as handsome as Derek Ramsey, you still love to look at him.

C. You feel comfortable when you’re with him. You can show him who you really are.

D. He has good faith and he loves his mother and his sister. This is really important. If he really treats his family right, you are sure that he’ll do same to you.

E. If you are arguing with him over silly things, he may get annoyed, mad, impatient or angry at you but he’ll still say sorry and will understand you in the end.

F. Also, make sure he’s into you as well. Just because he likes you doesn’t mean he loves you. You’ll know if he’s really interested if he’s making an effort to reach out, communicate, please you, surprise you, express his endearment and work things out.

G. You should also know the hint  if the guy is staying just because he no longer have a choice or maybe because you two have been together for years that he thinks he’s just stuck, tired of going back to zero so might as well deal with it and settle down.

H. If you let the letter G above happens. You are giving him a miserable life. And you two will probably, just probably, live a miserable married life too.

I. A friend used to tell me that it is also important that both of you look good together. Meaning, when people saw both of you even if it’s just a picture - they can already tell that there’s magic.

J. Lastly is an old effective tip: You must love to talk, share moments, sing, dance and laugh together.

That’s it// For me those 10 points are enough for you to know if he’s the one that is meant for you.

I watched this and been a fan of this serye since day 1 :p The said wedding doesn’t have any specific motif, the ladies of the entourage we’re wearing assorted colors of gowns.

The bride, Audrey/Kim Chiu’s wedding gown is really pretty.

I am now celebrating one year wedding planning anniversary!

I guess most of the bride to be’s have their specific month that they call a wedding planning month. Meaning, it is the highest and busiest month of their wedding preparation.

For me, it is the month of August. That’s around 3 months before our December wedding. What’s so funny about this is that we started planning January but I was thinking it was still early. I guess from January to July, I was just busy researching, listing this and that - I waited for the August rush mode to actually work on things and finalize stuff.  Hah, I’m such a crammer.

Oh August, how can I forget you! It was on this month that I had the scary severe colds and cough due to stress…that even friends were teasing me that I must make sure I am still alive when wedding day comes.

The whole month was crazy. Booked the suppliers and paid payments to some. We started to find designs and fitting schedule for the couture. Finalization of gowns, printing wedding invitations because we still have some cutting and distributions to do and other wedding details.

Sigh, how I miss that wedding planning month. Stressful but it’s fun. Kakapagod nga lang talaga.

To cram is really not advisable. Not even healthy.
So bridetobe’s - better start now.  Plan ahead religiously :p
